The big day...

Kelly in her cute cap, ready to get everything over with!
Kelly's ACL surgery went well and we're back home. She's still got a long recovery and a lot of rehabilition to do but has very strong willpower and I know that she will work hard to get back on the soccer field. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers, they are very appreciated.

I'm starting to sense the movement again that I sensed last year around this time. Students packing up and making plans for a new year, people moving and starting new jobs. Elizabeth and I will be heading out to Steubenville the middle of August for Freshman orientation, Pat will resume Law school, and Michael is coming home for awhile and will be looking for a job, preferably in Denver. Kathleen still has a year or so to go in college and Kelly will start her junior year in high school in about 2 and a half weeks.

So, life goes on. Babies will be born and more families will be started. It's strange to watch your children and others that you knew when they were babies grow up and head off to new places. Moms and Dads are left to hold down the fort and pray for everyone's health and happiness.

I wish all of you a good year and much peace and love in your lives.
God bless you and keep you safe, Mama Kitty

Prayers requested...

for my youngest child, Kelly. She tore her ACL at Notre Dame's Soccer camp and will have surgery this coming Tuesday. Pretty routine, but for a mother, still a worry. Please keep her in your prayers. I'll be busy with keeping her doped up and helping her not run into things for the next week so won't be on too often. Appreciate all of you out there and knowing that you'll be praying for her safe surgery and recovery. Kitty
