My computer scares me...

It's really strange to wake up in the morning and stumble to the computer to read the news and find your computer has a mind of it's own. I looked at the screen and it seems that overnight, it had downloaded updates, restarted itself and was ready for me to log in. And it put up a firewall so I couldn't get on the internet and since I rely on my oldest to keep me in the computer world and he's thousands of miles away, I was stuck. But, I'm smarter then the computer (I think). I turned the firewall off. Was that a mistake? Yikes! Maybe if I named my computer and fed it something besides little bits of pizza and splashes of wine it would be nicer to me!

Stresses of life...

Every now and then, I get stressed out from the pressures of marriage, children and life in general. I've also noticed on some of the blogs in this particular arena that some of you also get to a boiling point on occasion. Most of the time, I think we handle it fairly well, a little help from friends, maybe a glass of our favorite "juice" or a pack of cigarettes and we are back in business.
But about a week ago, one of my good friends lost her son when he reached a point of no return. He left no note and his family will only be able to speculate for the rest of their lives why he was so depressed that he hung himself. He was a junior in college and had a very strong, supportive family, but something inside him hurt so much that he took his own life. My friend's heart is shattered. As a mother, my heart is broken for her.
I don't mean to intrude upon your lives, but Please, if you reach that point where you no longer can cope with what life has thrown at you, call someone, go see a Priest, post something on your blog. We are all in the same battle against good and evil, we can help if you'll let us. God is here for all of us, we must just reach out and take His hand. He will lead us through many difficult times if we let Him.
God Bless you all, Kitty
