Prayers requested...

for my youngest child, Kelly. She tore her ACL at Notre Dame's Soccer camp and will have surgery this coming Tuesday. Pretty routine, but for a mother, still a worry. Please keep her in your prayers. I'll be busy with keeping her doped up and helping her not run into things for the next week so won't be on too often. Appreciate all of you out there and knowing that you'll be praying for her safe surgery and recovery. Kitty

Thank you for all your prayers. Kelly's surgery went well, only the ACL was damaged and although she had a rough night with throwing up and pain, today is a little better. Everyday there will be more improvement and hopefully by Spring Soccer season, she'll be back on the field.
We have learned that there is a very great % of women over men who have ACL injuries. Doctors think that it is the difference in body structure between men and women. There are exercises that will help in preventing the number of ACL injuries, so I guess Kelly will be learning those exercises.
Again thank you for your thoughts and prayers, Kitty and Kelly
