Random thoughts...

As some of you know and the rest will someday find out, as a young parent you tend to be friends with other young parents. It's a big help as you go through the trials of children. And then when they grow up and start leaving home, you have a shoulder to cry on. The picture above is my youngest daughter with a McCarthy (and I'm sure that a few of you know the McCarthy's). They are both sophomores in HS, she was homecoming attendant this year and he was her escort.
Mrs. McCarthy and I had our children around the same time and they all were and still are good friends.
It's the luck of the Irish to be blessed with good friends!
