I'm first of all a wife and mother but I also volunteer for many organizations. Search and Rescue, NMserves, EMS, ARES, Church, School and other events as they arise. Volunteering gives me the freedom to care for my family and help others though skills I've learned over the years. I'm very grateful that I am able to "work" as needed. Through my volunteer work I've met many wonderful people and hope that God allows me many more years and that my compassion to aid others in need will stay with me. God bless! Kitty

No posts in a week though, are you busy swinging NM?
Actually, I've been busy with the season end of soccer and 3 searches for pinon nut (pine nuts) pickers. They make lot's of money off of them but unfortunately we usually have several that get turned around in the forest. The last one was a 10 hour search for a 50 yo women. It was below freezing, snowing and she had a light windbreaker on. We found her this morning at 0530 hrs. She was cold, wet and tired, but otherwise fine. Now I'm tired and going to try to catch up on the night of sleep I missed playing in the mud and snow. Thanks, Kitty
